What happens if one of our guests has an issue while traveling?
I’m with you and your guests from the moment you book until the last person arrives home. If a flight is delayed or a room request needs adjusting, I’m the one on the phone making it right. I’ve navigated everything from lost luggage to global pandemics. I’ve got your back.
How do group travel rates work? Is it actually cheaper for our guests?
Yes! By booking a group block, we can often secure lower rates, smaller deposits, and added perks like free room upgrades or flight credits. It also ensures all your guests are actually staying at the same resort, which is key for the wedding events.
Do I have to handle my guests' travel bookings and questions?
Absolutely not! That is a huge part of the stress I take off your plate. I become the primary point of contact for your guests. From booking their rooms in your group block to answering questions about passports and packing, I handle it all so you can stay the happy couple and not a travel agent.
How far in advance should we start planning our destination wedding?
Ideally, we want to start 12 to 16 months out. This secures your preferred wedding date (the good ones go fast!) and gives your guests plenty of time to save and request time off. However, if you’re looking to elope or have a shorter timeline, I love a challenge. Let’s talk and see what we can make happen!
How do we pick the right destination or resort?
This is my favorite part! I’m a sharing is caring planner, which means I’ll give you the honest pros and cons of Mexico vs. Jamaica vs. the Dominican Republic.
We start with your vision, budget, and guest list, and I’ll match you with resorts I’ve personally vetted. I’m an adrenaline junkie who tours these properties constantly, so I know which ones have the best beaches and which ones are just good marketing.
What is the difference between what you do and what the resort wedding coordinator does?
Think of me as your personal advocate and travel architect. I handle the big picture logistics: finding the perfect resort, negotiating group rates, and managing all your guests’ travel and room bookings. The resort coordinator is your point of person for the day-of details like flowers, cake, and table settings. I bridge the gap to ensure the resort is ready for you and you aren’t stuck answering 50 emails from guests about flight times.
